Earl of the Island of Jersey
Earl of the Island of Jersey, usually shortened to Earl of Jersey, is a title in the Peerage of England. It was created in 1697 for the statesman Edward Villiers, 1st Viscount Villiers, Ambassador to France from 1698 to 1699 and Secretary of State for the Southern Department from 1699 to 1700.

The Lord Jersey Rugby Cup was founded in 2008 by the 10th Earl of Jersey, with the help of Rugby Development officer for Jersey, Mark White, and is an annual cup for rugby at U16 level.

Minquiers
The Minquiers (Les Minquiers; in Jèrriais: Les Mîntchièrs 
pronunciation (help·info); nicknamed "the Minkies" in local English) are a group of islands and rocks situated 9 miles south of Jersey forming part of the Bailiwick of Jersey. They are administratively part of the Parish of Grouville.
The islands have no permanent inhabitants, though fishermen, vraic collectors, yachtmen, radioamateurs and even sometimes canoeists make summer landfall.
The most significant islands in the group are:
- Maîtresse Île / Maîtr' Île
- Les Maisons;
